I am Cathie Strand, and I am a Certified Hypnotist. 

I trained and interned with Cal Banyan, the creator of 5 PATH ® and 7th Path ™, and am a member in good standing of the National Guild of Hypnotists, the oldest and most highly respected guild for hypnotists in the world! I am committed to researching and learning the best techniques for helping my clients.

About Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a very powerful method for change and has helped thousands of Americans to make all sorts of changes in their lives.  But… hypnosis is not mind control.  For instance, not even the most excellent hypnotist can MAKE you lose weight or stop smoking if you really don’t want to.  Neither can we accurately predict how many sessions you will need.  With 5 PATH ® hypnosis, most people, but not everyone, begin to experience the benefits from the very first session and are done in four to six sessions.  Ultimately, you are responsible for the changes that occur as a result of your hypnosis sessions.  You get a great deal of the credit, and are empowered to make even more positive changes in your life!


No hypnotist can guarantee that the changes will happen. But actually, this is true in any situation where a professional is trying to help you.  There is always a human factor.  Doctors don’t guarantee that you will get well.  Teachers do not guarantee you will learn.  Lawyers do not guarantee you will win your case.  What I do guarantee, is the very best hypnosis services, using the most current information and proper techniques for you and your problem.
